A senior citizen in Magistrates’ Court denied sexually exploiting a young girl.The 77-year-old Southampton resident, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with putting his hands on the genitals of the victim and touching his lips to her forehead.The victim, who was described as being under the age of 14, also cannot be named for legal reasons.Both charges were said to have occurred in Southampton on December 20.After pleading not guilty to both offenses, the senior citizen was released by Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner on $10,000 bail with a surety of a like amount.He is expected to return for trial on February 4.
