A 32-year-old Smith’s man was charged with possessing $49,800 worth of marijuana yesterday.Joshua Holder pleaded not guilty to possessing the hydroponically grown marijuana on January 2. He also denied possessing scales on January 3.Hydro marijuana, as it is known, is grown from water, or chemical fertilizers, instead of soil.Most hydro marijuana has a higher rate THC and is believed to be stronger than regularly grown marijuana.Mr Holder was given $20,000 bail and will return to court on January 25.
