A 33-year-old Pembroke man has been charged with breaking into a home, armed with a Taser.Erskine Phillips was accused of entering a Middle Town Lane home on June 20, and inflicting actual bodily harm on Wayne Wales.He was charged also with carrying the Taser, which is a prohibited weapon. Mr Phillips, who had just been released from King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, was not required to enter a plea, as his case must be heard before the Supreme Court.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded him into custody. A trial date will be set later this month.
