A 26-year-old was this morning charged with a machete attack outside the Leopard’s Club.Ahijah Dill, of Laffan Street, Pembroke, was charged in Magistrates’ Court with wounding Miguel Swan with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possessing a bladed article, specifically a machete, in an increased penalty zone.Both charges are related to an incident on January 22 in Pembroke. Mr Dill was not required to enter a plea as the charges are indictable and must be heard in the Supreme Court.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded Mr Dill, who was not represented, into custody until February 16, when the matter is scheduled to be mentioned.
