Teen charged with house breaking

A 17-year-old Pembroke man was remanded in custody after he denied breaking into a Devonshire home in broad daylight, and stealing $10,105 worth of jewellery, electronics and other items.Jaquii Pearman-DeSilva was arrested by police in the vicinity of the Rec View Hill residence, shortly after the break-in was reported on Friday, April 20.Mr Pearman-DeSilva is represented by lawyer Charles Richardson. Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded the defendant in custody until April 30 when an application for bail will be made.The trial was set down for August 12 in Magistrates’ Court.
