A 22-year-old Pembroke man charged with handling ammunition was remanded into custody yesterday.Julian Washington appeared in Magistrates’ Court on a single charge of handling a 0.45 calibre cartridge on or about January 8 in Pembroke.The matter will be heard by the Supreme Court; Mr Washington was not required to enter a plea.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner placed him in custody until May 28, when the matter is expected to return to Magistrates’ Court for mention.
