Two men have been charged with the attack and robbery of a man in the Rambling Lane area of Pembroke.Kyle Daniels Smith, 17, of Spring Hill Close, Warwick, and Sergio Woolridge-Robinson, 21, of Curving Avenue, Pembroke, were charged in Magistrates’ Court yesterday with robbery and causing grievous bodily harm on August 4 to Kevin Abrahams.The two men were arrested in connection with a robbery last Saturday in which a 33-year-old man was robbed of a gold chain and cellphone valued at over $1,300. The victim is currently in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with a fractured skull.Magistrate Tyrone Chin remanded both Mr Daniels Smith and Mr Woolridge-Robinson into custody after a bail hearing.As the matter will be heard in Supreme Court, the defendants did not have to enter a plea.The case will come before the court for mention on August 17.
