A man is facing charges that he sexually molested a young girl.The 64-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, did not have to enter a plea at Magistrates’ Court because his matter must be dealt with at the Supreme Court.The six charges he faces allege that he touched the girl sexually between the year 2000 and 2008 and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.Prosecutor Cindy Clarke described the girl as being around four years old when the alleged abuse began.The defendant, who is represented by Saul Froomkin QC, must return to court in a week for an administrative hearing.
