A Sandys man has appeared in Magistrates’ Court on gun possession charges.Christoph Duerr, 25, was also accused of holding two different sets of ammunition, as well as cannabis with intent to supply.Mr Duerr made no plea before Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner.His charges, all of which were from January 28 in Sandys, are indictable only and must be heard at Supreme Court.Lawyer Kenlyn Swan made no application for bail.Mr Warner read out two separate charges of possessing a firearm while not holding a valid licence for that purpose.Mr Duerr, of Seawall Drive, was further accused of possessing 14 rounds of .38mm calibre ammunition, and seven nine mm rounds.Count five was possession of cannabis with intent to supply.The accused was remanded until February 22.
