A Devonshire man has been charged in Magistrates’ Court with possessing a firearm.Shauntonnai Talbot, 25, was yesterday charged with possessing a pistol sometime between an unknown date and March 28. He was not required to enter a plea, as the matter must be heard in the Supreme Court.He was represented in court by lawyer Charles Richardson, while Takiyah Burgess represented the Crown.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released the defendant on $20,000 bail with a like surety. The matter is expected to return to Magistrates’ Court today to be mentioned.
