A Smith’s man whose car was “extensively damaged” in an early morning crash has been banned from the roads for impaired driving.Thomas Lewis, 21, admitted the offence and apologised to Magistrates’ Court for the August 18 accident.Police found his car at 2.45am in Devonshire, blocking traffic at the junction of Middle Road and Orange Valley Road.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner fined him $1,500 and barred him from driving for one year.
