More charges in sex assault case

A St George’s man who was charged on Thursday with seven separate counts of sexual assault on a minor has been charged with three further sexual exploitation offences against another young girl.
The man, who is in his 60s, was not required to enter a plea when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday morning as the charges are indictable.
He faces thee charges of touching another young girl for a sexual purpose between May and September, 2007.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released the man on $10,000 bail with one surety.
He will reappear for mention on April 24.
