A Southampton man has been charged with stealing a wooden dinghy belonging to the Bermuda Sea Cadets.
In Magistrates’ Court, James King, 49, denied taking the dinghy, valued at $10,000, some time before March 22 last year. He also denied an alternate charge of receiving the dinghy knowing it had been stolen from the Bermuda Sea Cadets.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released Mr. King on $2,000 bail. He will be tried on September 9.
