A 48-year-old woman was arrested for alleged drink driving after her car hit a wall.

The Paget woman was treated in hospital after the crash, which happened on Harbour Road in Paget near its junction with Highwood Lane on Thursday night.

She was discharged from the King Edward after treatment and arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.

The woman’s car hit a wall on the road around 10.20pm and left the car badly damaged.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
