Three people have been charged with knowingly using a false betting slip from Sea Horses Bookmakers worth more than $4,000.

In Magistrates’ Court this morning, Christopher Dailey, 44, of Tribe Valley, Pembroke, Carol Campbell, 46, of Crawl Hill, Hamilton Parish and Shannon Deshield, 29, of Moores Lane, Pembroke all pleaded not guilty to using a Sea Horses betting slip worth $4,387.50 which they knew to be false.

They also pleaded not guilty to using the false betting slip as a means of deceiving Sea Horses to deprive them of $4,387.50.

Prosecutor Nicole Smith said the alleged offence occurred on March 20 at Seahorses in Hamilton.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo released each defendant on $3,000 bail for trial on November 19, with a mention on August 28.
