Sandys man bailed after he denies robbing man of gold chain

A 23-year-old man has denied stealing a gold chain from around someone’s neck.
Princeton Burrows, from Somerset, pleaded not guilty to robbery in Magistrates’ Court this morning.
He is accused of grabbing a gold chain from around the neck of Derek Hill on September 4 in Sandys, and using force to do so.
Magistrate Juan Wolffe set a trial date of December 1 and released Mr Burrows on $5,000 bail with one surety.
