A 23-year-old student has denied stealing a motorcycle.

Dejuan Somner pleaded not guilty in Magistrates’ Court this morning to taking the vehicle without consent in Pembroke on May 6.

He also pleaded not guilty to an alternative charge of receiving stolen goods on a date unknown between May 6 and June 7.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner set a trial date of January 7 and released Mr Somner on $2,000 bail with one surety.
