Mr Christopher had previously pleaded not guilty to both offences on December 17, and a social inquiry report and drug assessment were ordered.
In court today, prosecutor Susan Mulligan said: “Some of the comments made in the social inquiry report are indicative of underlying mental health issues.”
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo ordered a psychiatric report and remanded Mr Christopher to sit in on Drug Treatment Court for assessment on February 4.
• Also in court this morning, a 49-year-old man was bailed after he denied trespassing on his mother’s property.

Mr Tokunbo granted bail at $1,000 on the condition that Mr Faries go nowhere near his mother’s property.
The matter was adjourned for mention until February 12.
