A 32-year-old man was bailed in Magistrates’ Court this morning after he pleaded not guilty to possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

The court heard that Lamar Bean, of Redcoat Lane North, St George’s, allegedly had 46.12 grams of the controlled drug in his possession in Pembroke on September 25 last year.

The cannabis had a street value of $2,325.

Senior Magistrate Juan Wolffe set bail at $5,000 with a like surety and adjourned the matter to June 1 for trial.
