A Sandys man accused of assaulting a man and causing him bodily harm on Christmas Day was given bail in Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Keino Lambert, 24, was remanded into custody at a previous court appearance on December 31 after he pleaded not guilty to the offence, which allegedly occurred at a bus stop in Southampton.

In court today, Senior Magistrate Juan Wolffe granted $5,000 bail with two like sureties on the condition that Mr Lambert wear an electronic monitoring device, report to Police three times a week, have no contact with the prosecution witnesses, abide by a 6pm to 6am curfew, surrender his travel documents and report for trial on April 10.
