A 31-year-old man charged with committing sexual assault has been remanded into custody.

Appearing in Magistrates’ Court this morning, the defendant pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a female in Warwick on Thursday.

Neither the defendant nor the complainant can be named for legal reasons.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo remanded the man into custody and adjourned the matter to October 5 for mention.
