Man admits councillor attack

A man has admitted attacking a Hamilton councillor leaving her with serious injuries.
Otis Walter Bell, 61, pleaded guilty to wounding RoseAnn Edwards with intent on January 5, this year, in Hamilton, when he appeared at Supreme Court arraignments this morning.
The Devonshire man was remanded in custody and will return to court on March 1 when a sentencing date will be set.
In the meantime his lawyer, Richard Horseman, asked for a psychological report to be prepared on his client.
