A Sandys man has denied three drug-related charges in Magistrates’ Court this morning.
On July 6 last year, Daymon Simmons is alleged to have been found in Sandys in possession of 65.71 grams of cannabis resin, 13.77 grams of cannabis and a smoking device that resembled a tube of lipstick.
The court heard that the resin had a street value of $6,600, and the cannabis had a street value of $700.
After Mr Simmons pleaded not guilty, magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo adjourned the matter to April 22 for mention and released the defendant on $6,000 bail.
