Man denies drugs importation
A Devonshire man has denied conspiring with others to import 427.5 grams of cannabis.
Appearing in Magistrates’ Court this morning, 34-year-old Tafari Wilson pleaded not guilty to the offence that allegedly took place between a date unknown and November 11 last year.
The court heard that the drugs would have had a street value of $21,375.
Mr Wilson elected to be tried in Magistrates’ Court and a trial date was set for August 31.
Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe released Mr Wilson on $5,000 bail with one like surety.
