A Southampton resident will appear in Supreme Court next month accused of a serious sexual assault.
The 47-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is alleged to have committed the attack on July 3 in Pembroke.
Yesterday morning, Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo released the defendant on $10,000 bail with a like surety, with his Supreme Court trial set to begin on September 1. Until then, the accused must not have any contact with the complainant, whom he does not know, and must report to Hamilton Police Station each Monday and Thursday.
