Pembroke man denies cocaine charges
A 29-year-old Pembroke man has denied importing and possessing more than $130,000 worth of cocaine.
Appearing in Magistrates’ Court this morning, Cal-Lee Wray pleaded not guilty to the offences, which allegedly took place in St George’s on March 21.
According to prosecutor Larissa Burgess, the drugs Mr Wray is accused of importing and possessing would have had a value of $131,750 if sold on Bermuda’s streets.
Mr Wray elected to be tried in Magistrates’ Court and a trial date was set for January 24. He was granted $25,000 bail with a like surety and ordered to surrender his travel documents.
