Fifth person charged with Steede murder
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of Bermudian teenager Lyrico Steede.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is the fifth person to be accused of the alleged stabbing.
The teenager appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
He was remanded in custody for a hearing at Nottingham Crown Court tomorrow.
Mr Steede, 17, was stabbed in an attack in Stock Well, Bulwell, on February 13. He died of his injuries in hospital six days later.
Kasharn Campbell, 19, of no fixed address, two 17-year-old boys and a 15-year-old girl, who also cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with murder and are to be tried on October 2.
A 17-year-old girl has also been charged with assisting an offender.
