Man accused of machete attack
A man will appear in front of the Supreme Court after he was accused of trespassing into someone’s home and attacking them with a machete.
Keith Smith, 51, was charged on Wednesday with entering the home of Mitchell Watson and causing bodily harm with an offensive weapon.
The incident is alleged to have occurred on February 17 in St George’s.
Mr Smith did not enter a plea as the case must be heard in front of the Supreme Court.
Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe ordered Mr Smith, from Sandys, to appear at the November arraignments session.
He released Burgess-Smith on $3,000 bail.
