Man accused of intending to supply heroin
A Devonshire man was charged in Magistrates’ Court this morning with having heroin with intent to supply.
Winston Paynter, 39, was not required to enter a plea as the matter must be heard by the Supreme Court.
The offence allegedly took place between an unknown date and April 20, 2019.
The quantity and value of the drugs involved was not disclosed.
Magistrate Tyrone Chin released Mr Paynter on $50,000 bail with two sureties of the same amount.
The matter is expected to appear before the Supreme Court on February 3.
