Homeless man breaks into bar
A 42-year-old man admitted he broke into a beach bar twice in the same day and stole almost $500 worth of goods.
Dimitri Robinson, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol, soft drinks and chips worth $495.50 from the Rum Bum Beach Bar at Horseshoe Bay in December.
Magistrates’ Court heard that the he targeted the bar twice in the space of 12 hours.
Robinson was arrested after he was found inside the bar as he carried out the second raid.
In a separate incident, Robinson also pleaded guilty to intrusion on the privacy of a woman.
The court heard that Robinson made a lewd comment to a woman at a bus stop on Middle Road, Warwick, last July.
He was remanded in custody until February 19.
