Motorist charged with causing road death
A 41-year-old man appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged in connection with a crash that killed a young woman two years ago.
Terrance Walker, from Pembroke, is alleged to have caused death by driving without due care and attention.
Jen-Naya Simmons, 19, suffered fatal injuries after her motorcycle was struck by a passenger van on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish, in the early hours of July 15, 2018.
Mr Walker was not required to enter a plea as the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.
He was released on $10,000 bail until April 1 and was ordered to surrender his passport.
