Man pleads not guilty to sex assault

A 35-year-old man has denied a sex assault on a woman.
The man, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, pleaded not guilty to the charge in Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The offence is alleged to have happened on December 29 last year in Devonshire.
Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe adjourned the case until January 25 and released the man on $3,000 bail.
He ordered the man, from Pembroke, to have no contact with the alleged victim, who also cannot be identified for legal reasons.
