Two men charged with robbery and sexual assault
Two men have been charged with trespassing on private property with a bladed article, robbery and sexual assault.
All three offences allegedly occurred in Smith’s, on October 19, last year.
Since the charges are indictable and must be heard in the Supreme Court, neither of the defendants were required to enter into a plea when they appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The defendants cannot be named for legal reasons.
Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson sent their case to the Supreme Court, where it will be mentioned during the December arraignment sessions.
Both defendants were remanded into custody.
