A Hamilton Parish man yesterday denied a series of sexual offences against a young girl.

The 60-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, denied three charges that he sexually touched a girl under the age of 14.

All three offences allegedly took place between June 1, 2022, and January 31 this year in Hamilton Parish.

Magistrate Maxanne Anderson released the defendant on $5,000 bail until May 29, when the matter is set to return to court to be mentioned.
