A man charged with sexual assault and trespassing has been remanded into custody.

The 44-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denied the offences, as well as taking a motorbike without the owner’s permission, when he appeared in court yesterday and chose to keep his case in Magistrates’ Court.

All three offences allegedly occurred on Sunday.

Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case until today and remanded the man, of no known address, into custody until that time.
