Motorist fined and banned
A motorist who was stopped by police in Hamilton has been disqualified from driving all vehicles for 18 months.
Cesar Inacio, 36, admitted driving while impaired by alcohol when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court.
The court heard that police stopped Inacio, from Pembroke, after watching him ride his bike over the centre line along Front Street on July 9.
Inacio admitted having two beers before getting on his bike and was then taken to the Hamilton Police Station.
In addition to being banned, Inacio was fined $1,500.
