Teenager accused of stealing electronics from P-Tech
A teenager is accused of stealing almost $10,000 of electronics from a Reid Street business in October.
Equan Richardson, 19, denied the theft of HP and MacBook Air laptops and two Samsung S23 smartphones, valued at $9,903, from P-Tech when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
During his court appearance, Mr Richardson, from Hamilton Parish, also denied stealing and damaging a Yamaha motorbike. All offences were allegedly committed on October 9.
Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case to March 18, released Mr Richardson on $5,000 bail and ordered him to not enter P-Tech and to follow a 9pm-to-6am curfew.
