A motorist who struck a car in Warwick has been disqualified from driving all vehicles for nine months.

Taj Maxwell, 22, admitted riding his bike without due care and attention when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

The court heard that Maxwell, from Warwick, collided with the back of a car that was turning from Middle Road on to Tribe Road No 2 on July 28, 2022.

Both vehicles were badly damaged and Maxwell’s face was injured in the incident.

In addition to the ban, Maxwell was fined $1,000.
