Woman denies causing grievous bodily harm by driving

A woman has been accused of causing a motorist grievous bodily harm by driving a car in Sandys without due care and attention.

Winter DeMello, 31, denied the charge when she appeared in Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

The incident, in which Shawn Spencer claims injury, allegedly occurred along Mangrove Bay Road on January 3.

Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case to September 16 and released Ms DeMello, from Warwick, on $2,500 bail until that time.
