Teenager accused of shooting at police
A teenager was charged yesterday in Magistrates’ Court with shooting at police with a firearm.
Ade Hart, 18, was also charged with using the firearm to resist or prevent lawful arrest, having the weapon and ammunition without a licence and taking a motorcycle without the owner’s permission when he appeared in court this morning.
The offences allegedly occurred on August 23 and 24.
Mr Hart, from Southampton, was not required to enter pleas today as the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.
Magistrate Maria Sofianos adjourned the case to the October arraignment session and remanded Mr Hart in to custody until that time.
