Woman banned from riding bikes for six months
A woman who collided with a motorist in Warwick has been disqualified from driving motorcycles for six months.
Selah Ray, 21, admitted riding her bike without due care and attention when she appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The court heard that Ray, from Pembroke, tried to overtake an ambulance on Middle Road and collided with a cycle travelling in the opposite direction on February 10.
Ray sustained a broken wrist and both vehicles were damaged in the collision.
She was fined $1,000 for the offence in addition to being banned.
