Brazilian charged with use of unauthorised cards
A Brazilian has been accused of using unauthorised credit and debit cards.
Caio Friede Gallucci, 22, was charged in Magistrates’ Court yesterday with dishonestly obtaining and trying to obtain an unknown amount of goods from Sargasso and Pronto services with the unauthorised card numbers.
As the case must be heard in the Supreme Court, Mr Gallucci, who has been living in Devonshire, was not required to offer a plea to the offences, which allegedly occurred between July 1 and 10.
Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case to the November arraignment session and remanded Mr Gallucci in custody until that time.
