Driver fined for causing collision
A motorist who caused a three-vehicle collision has been fined $800.
Ricardo Graham-Ward, 32, admitted driving without due care and attention when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The court heard that Graham-Ward, from Sandys, struck a car that came to a stop in Paget in August 2023, causing the driver to hit a motorcycle in front of it.
The bike rider sustained a cut shin and bruising and the car driver complained of back pain after the incident.
In addition to the fine, Graham-Ward was given ten demerit points on his licence.
