Threatening voice message leads to court fine

A woman who threatened to kill someone ended up with a fine of $500 after appearing in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Talisa Wade, 46, admitted the offence when she appeared before magistrate Craig Attridge.

The court heard that Wade, from Pembroke, sent the threat to a woman via a voice message last December.

Mr Attridge warned that Ms Wade’s behaviour was “no way for adults to conduct themselves”, and ordered her to pay the fine by December 6.
