Woman admits assault and other offences

A woman who assaulted and threatened to kill another woman will be sentenced in Magistrates’ Court next month.

Carina Dornelas, 45, admitted causing Heather Funk bodily harm, threatening to kill her and sending her an offensive message when she appeared in court today.

Dornelas, from Southampton, sent the offensive message on October 20, but initially denied the assault and threat, both of which happened on November 25.

Magistrate Craig Attridge ordered a social inquiry report to be written for Dornelas, adjourned the case to January 24 for sentencing and remanded her into custody until that time.
