A Paget man has pleaded guilty to importing almost $600,000 worth of cannabis into the island.
Joshua Joell, 20, made the plea when he appeared at this month’s arraignments session yesterday.
The offence took place on December 15, 2023. The cannabis resin, weighing almost 6,000 grams, had a street value of $598,800.
Joell will be sentenced next month. Puisne Judge Alan Richards extended his bail but warned that he will most likely face a custodial sentence.
