Spending spree on another person’s card ends in court

A woman who dishonestly received thousands of dollars in goods and services will be sentenced in Magistrates’ Court next month.

Udori Henry, 22, admitted receiving items valued at $3,185.99 from various businesses when she appeared in court yesterday.

Henry, from Pembroke, acquired the items, as well as $612.38 worth of room charges from the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, by falsely claiming that she had permission to use a debit card belonging to Christopher Preyra-Leader.

Henry committed the offences between July 14 and October 13, 2023.

Magistrate Maria Sofianos adjourned the case to April 28 for sentencing and extended Henry’s bail until that time.
