A nursery school worker has denied abusing two children in her care.
Lakeisha Iris, 40, pleaded not guilty to two counts of the mistreatment of a child whom she had care and control of when she appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The incidents were alleged to have happened on May 1 and May 15 last year.
Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson released Ms Iris, from Warwick, on $3,000 bail and adjourned the case until April 14.
She ordered her to have no contact with any court witnesses.
