A foreign national has been accused of importing controlled drugs into Bermuda.
Karandeep Nandra, 33, was charged with importing diamorphine and cannabis resin when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Mr Nandra, from London, was also charged with having the drugs with intent to supply.
He allegedly committed the offences on April 25 and was not required to enter a plea yesterday as the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.
Magistrate Craig Attridge adjourned the case to the June arraignments and remanded Mr Nandra in custody until that time.
