A 19-year-old man was charged yesterday with the murder of a teenager at Horseshoe Bay on Friday.

Eze Hart, from Southampton, was charged with murdering 16-year-old Kanye Ford on September 9 at Horseshoe Bay car park in Southampton.

Since the offence is indictable and must be heard in the Supreme Court, Mr Hart was not required to enter a plea.

Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson sent his case to the Supreme Court, where it will be mentioned during the October arraignment sessions on October 3.

She ordered that Mr Hart be remanded in custody until that time.
